British Transport Police are appealing for help in identifying a man they wish to speak to in connection with an assault that took place on the Elizabeth Line.
The train was travelling between Paddington and Ealing Broadway on Saturday 16 March, when, shortly before 10pm, a couple noticed a man taking pictures of women on board.
They confronted the man about his activities but he then proceeded to assault one of them grabbing him by the throat and pushing him back.
The police have now released an image of a man they believe will be able to help them in their investigation.
Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 843 of 16 March 2024.
Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
British Transport Police is urging the public to save 61016 on their phones. This number can be used to text reports of sexual offences on public transport or you can download the Railway Guardian app.
