Wimbledon earned a vital three points after a frenzied last few minutes saw them emerge on top when they visited Torquay on Tuesday (January 1).

The Dons were 2-1 up at half-time, thanks to goals from Paul McCallum and Mat Mitchel-King.

It stayed that way until the 89th minute when Rene Howe headed home for the Seagulls to make it 2-2.

But the match was not over, and Rashid Yussuff was fouled in the box on the 93rd minute to give a penalty to Dons. Stacy Long placed it home to put the match beyond the reach of the home side.
