All day festive fun coming soon...
Wimbledon's Winter Wonderland has had a makeover this year and will be an all-day event on Sunday December 1.
There will be festive performances throughout the day on the Love Wimbledon Stage, street food, children's rides and activities, and lots of festive fun including facepainting, balloon modelling, giant jenga, giant connect4 and walkabout characters.
Performances on the main stage will include a mixture of theatre, dance and music as well as local Wimbledon favourites: Merton Music Foundation, Dancebites, Stagecoach , Rock Choir, Gemini Dancers, Cherry Pie Music, carol singers and many more.
Amazing new attractions include a walk in snow globe, reindeer rodeo, shoot the goal with AFC Wimbledon, Christmas pudding bouncy castle (one of apparently only two in the country) a snow board simulator and a range of rides for younger children including a carousel.
Street entertainers will include magicians and unicyclists appearing alongside familiar characters such as Haydon the Womble (and the AFC Wimbledon team), Miss Squiggles story telling, TotArt printmaking and hopefully, if he can get away from his Grotto for a moment, Father Christmas.
Performances all day from 12 noon -6pm on stage to include:
