Residents should expect some changes to the way their bins are collected over Christmas and New Year. Across the festive period, bins will be collected on different dates to those we are used to throughout the year.
These changes allow for councils to work around the festive bank holidays whilst allowing employees some rest over the holiday.
Hounslow Council have announced the following changes to the usual schedule:

Hounslow Council has announced they can also collect extra recycling, which will be a relief to many with bins set to fill with wrapping paper and boxes on Christmas morning.
Christmas Tree recycling will also be available between Monday (6 January) and Friday (17 January).
