The proposed closure of Charing Cross Hospital is a disgrace!!

With Charing Cross Hospital we have 500 Beds that are book marked to be reduced to just 60 Beds WHY? we may ask for Development the reply!! it would seem that yet again Money is the root of this evil.Charing Cross treat all kinds of Cancer Patients, their Outpatients Clinics are overflowing I personally have been a patient on a yearly basis since 2002 and without the Consultants & Staff well!! "I" thank God am one of the lucky ones. However without Charing Cross it could so easily have been another story. We need more Hospitals not closure of existing ones!!This Coalition promised so much, yes I do appreciate that Austerity Measures are necessary, however when we continue to give monies to India who have a Space programme & Bangladesh who have a Nuclear programme etc and that this "AID" accumulates to approx 12 BILLION POUNDS per year whilst within London we have just last week had 10 Fire Stations closed with nearly 560 people made redundant just because it would cost £28 million a year to keep them open. What is £28 Million to keep us safe & alive opposed to £12 Billion Aid giving yearly to assist outside governments to go into Space & perhaps use their Nuclear Power against the UK in the future. Our Coalition Government need to prioritize our needs because all these funds that they give to other countries do not go to the actual ppl of said countries they are spent how each individual government wish and our government have no say!! Each day we see Our NHS,Fire Service & Police diminish greatly our Schools are in Turmoil because each year they have a different curriculum to teach it confuses both Teachers & Pupils. I say wholeheartedly to our government don't destroy us!!

Good ole Hounslow Homes

Why do Hounslow Homes think this time of year is a prime time to redecorate external areas in their properties?Today I found the communal entrance door stuck because it had been painted.  Now I know I'm not the strongest of persons but I couldn't shift it.  I was locked inside.  I did wonder if there was a medical emergency would I be able to get out?  If a fire had broken out would I have managed to escape?  Even the fire escape from the top of the flats leads down to the communal entrance.  I did report it to the council.  Pleasant chap on the phone making placating noises but what type of numpty employs numskulls to decorate in the midst of winter?       Now picture this: me and another person did actually manage to shove the door open - two old wombles together - and we could see where the paint ripped.  It was stuck.  Hard.  By paint.  Now, what qualified painter & decorator just allows painted surfaces to stick together in this weather?  And what type of painters & decorators are Hounslow Homes squandering money on?Last year, at around this time last year, in all the snow, Hounslow Homes got a painter & decorator in to do up the communal areas.  This so-called painter & decorator - from Hertfordshire according to his van - just painted as directed and missed out filling in a huge crack - caused by subsidence.  Crack filled in six months later.  But not painted over.I thought Hounslow Homes would have learned from their previous mistakes but it seems not.
