Ben Strevens scored from close range on the hour mark as Brentford battled for a point in Yorkshire
The Bees could have taken an early lead when Sam Wood burst clear on goal but was denied by Leeds keeper Ankergren.
In a ding dong battle Brentford were always at the races and despite some Leeds pressue took the lead when Strevs notched from close range in the 60th minute when he chested a fizzing Charlie Macdonald drive into the net
Leeds struck back through Jermaine Beckford who equalised with about fifteen minutes to go - and the home team could have won all three points when Lubormir Michalik headed against the post late on.
Whilst it was a shame Brentford couldn't hang on for a memorable win, full credit should go to the team for earning a point against Leeds who remain in second place in the table. Brentford are now in fourteenth place on 39 points.
Bees - Szczesny, Phillips (Foster), Smith, Legge, Kev, Dickson, Weston (Bean), Wood, Dave, Mac, Strevens (Cort).
Unused Subs - Price, Hunt, Saunders, Ainsworth
This follows on from a 2-1 away loss to Walsall and a 1-1 home draw to Wycombe.
